From clock-in to hours worked
Your worked time is the gap between start and end, minus any unpaid break. This tool understands overnight shifts, so a start of 22:00 and an end of 06:00 correctly gives eight hours rather than a negative number. Subtracting the break then gives the hours you're actually paid for.
Regular and overtime hours
Many jobs pay a higher rate once you pass a daily threshold — commonly eight hours, often at 1.5× ("time and a half"). Set the threshold and multiplier to match your rules, and the tool splits the shift into regular and overtime hours and, if you add an hourly rate, works out the pay for each part.
A quick timesheet check
Use it to verify a shift before submitting a timesheet, to estimate a day's pay, or to confirm overtime was counted correctly. The rate is optional — leave it blank if you only need the hours.
Frequently asked questions
Does it handle shifts past midnight?
Yes. If the end time is earlier than the start time, the tool assumes the shift crosses midnight and adds the extra hours automatically.
How is overtime calculated?
Any hours above the threshold you set are treated as overtime and paid at your rate times the multiplier. Set the threshold high to disable overtime entirely.
